Before you get started in the process of becoming a member of Clan Paladin, please observe the following as this will help to understand the requirements for joining Clan Paladin. No candidates will be considered who are under the age of 17 years of age.

Apprentice = A new recruit looking to join Clan Paladin. Not a full member.
Journeyman = A sponsor who is already a full member of Clan Paladin and willing to support the Apprentice through the application process.

Step 1

The Apprentice must acquire a minimum of one Journeyman to begin the application process. If the Apprentice does not have a Journeyman, he or she can appeal to the members of Clan Paladin in search of a Journeyman through the Clan Paladin forums under the “Public Square” channel. Once a Journeyman has accepted the Apprentice, the Apprentice and Journeyman move on to the next step.

Step 2

The Journeyman, having accepted the Apprentice, must post a formal introduction and acceptance message to the clan in the “Members Only” section of the forum. Once this step has been completed, the next step will begin. It is the responsibility of the Journeyman to keep his / her apprentice informed of their progress in the application process.

Step 3

A two week training period begins for the Apprentice. During this two week training period, the Journeyman must make every effort to fight along side the Apprentice as much as possible and help him / her understand the codes of conduct Clan Paladin requires of their members. The Journeyman in turn will be required to submit a minimum of one report per week of the training period to his / her tier leader. If the tier leader sees quality in the reports on the Apprentice, the Apprentice then moves on to the next step.

Step 4

The tier leader now passes the information to the High Council for review. At this point the High Council makes a determination based on the reports and any information they have received regarding the Apprentice. All determinations by the High Council are final and not subject to discussion.

Step 5

If the Apprentice is accepted to Clan Paladin, he or she will be informed and will be allowed to change their tags from an AP to that of a Knight. They will also then be invited to a Knighting Ceremony. The new member will be Knighted during the ceremony and will be accepted as a full member of Clan Paladin. First duties as a new member will be revealed to the new Knight at such time.
